Free Wedding Locations

There is no charge for getting married at New York City's most famous places!

In downtown Manhattan, many couples stand in line at the City Clerk's office at 141 Worth Street, to get their marriage license. And 24 hours after obtaining that license, they head back to the City Clerk and get married by the City Clerk. It is very inexpensive and it is also a lot of fun!

But, really, how romantic is that? Since the idea of a New York City wedding and marriage is to be the wedding of your lifetime, wouldn't you like to do something more than just getting married by the City Clerk? Well, we offer you that other option!

And we all know times are tough, and that it can cost big bucks to have a wedding. But here is the greatest wedding bargain of all time: you can get married in any New York City park such as Central Park, Riverside Park, Madison Park, Battery Park, Prospect Park, etc. for free if your wedding party is less than 20 people.

Or you can have your wedding pretty much anywhere in Manhattan. Even Yankee Stadium! (Maybe during the 7th inning stretch...)

The Fulton Ferry Landing is free, as is the Brooklyn Promenade. But, you will have to pay a fare to get married in the NYC Subway :-)

Seriously, you or your parents should NOT have to write out dozens of checks to dozens of vendors and spend money that could most certainly be put to better uses, such as paying off your credit cards or saving for a payment for home!

All we're saying is your New York Wedding can be beautiful, spiritual, magical, simple or anything you want it to be. Just use your imagination and take advantage of all the wonderful and free or inexpensive locations and opportunities a New York Wedding offers!
